Once upon a time there was a wild lone thing,
wrote songs like a dream filled dream,
taught wisdom in a rhyme so fine,
wild words made the wild birds sing.
Wild words made the wild birds sing,
lost letters lost the night birds bring,
learned rhythm dropped in one two time,
sang tunes made of sunshine dreams.
Wild birds lone ones,
the story is the same,
Wild birds sing songs,
the tale still remains.
Wild birds wild ones,
the verse is the same,
Wild birds sing songs,
the tale sales the fame.
Wild bird you are a wild lone thing,
lyric verse lost wild lost wild dreams,
Wild words made the night birds ring,
Once upon a time child wild birds sing.
Wild birds lone ones,
the tale still remains,
Wild birds wild ones,
